Produce For 9/21/16

Banana Pepper/ Marconi Pepper- Yellow, Red, Green
These peppers can be eaten raw like any other Banana Pepper. Marconi's are also an excellent Italian roasting pepper. They are prized for their flavor and texture, even after roasting.

Bell Pepper, Green
These are Bell Peppers are a small to medium sizes.





Corn, Bi-Colored Sweet
This corn is still very good, considering how late in the season is. It is untreated, so it is virtually chemical free.


Cucumbers, Slicing
Excellent slicing Cucumbers.


Green Beans
Very crisp, very flavorful largish beans.


Okra, Green
This Okra is small, and has very little fuzz.


Peaches
Very delicious, largish #2 Peaches



Pumpkin, Ornamental Mini
This is not an edible pumpkin. It kin to the gourd family, though it is more a once use item. These pumpkins should stay in pristine condition for several weeks, if not months.











Pumpkin, Pie
These are the popular pie pumpkins. They weigh anywhere from 4 to 5.5 pounds.


Purple Hull Peas
These are an ever popular pea. They are very similar to Black Eye Peas.


Squash, Butternut
This is an excellent souping, frying, stuffing, and baking squash. These squash are known for their ability to last months without losing their flavor or texture.


Squash, Yellow
We have both large and small Yellow Squash.


Tomato, Red Slicer
These are the common, ever popular Mt. Fresh Tomatoes. They are kin to Bradleys, just without the thick core.


Watermelon, Seedless Fascination
These watermelon are anywhere from 9-13 pounds.


Zucchini, Green
This #1 Zucchini is a very tasty squash.


Trombone Butternut Squash, A.K.A., Long Neck Butternut

This is very similar to the Common Butternut Squash, however, this is an Heirloom, on known for its richer taste, excellent texture, and ease to cook.

 










Speckled Hound Heirloom Pumpkin
Very delicious pumpkin used for decoration and souping.

Red Geraniums

Hibiscus Flowers, Red, Orange

Ornamental Peppers, Red, Purple
